After a little trouble I succesfully installed rockbox on my iriver h320 but I have been having some problems since then.
I don't know if they are related to rockbox or not but I figured that this might be a good place to try anyhow. I have been using linux during all of this and I have tried doing things on windows XP as well.
1. At first I had problems with transferring files. Files would transfer really fast at first and then stall. This happened on the normal firmware, with the rockbox usb boot and normally in rockbox.
2. After trying to figure things out with that and including doing a format of the drive (witht the firmware) the same problem continued occuring.
3. Shortly thereafter the player won't be recognized when connected to any computer be it Linux or windows XP, and this is with the normal firmware, in usb boot mode and in normal mode.
I have tried this with multiple USB cables and through more than one usb port. A strange thiing happens when I plug it into a USB hub, the light indicated a device is plugged in will turn on for a little bit and then turn off.
Any help would be much appreciated as this is rather frustrating.
