issues with rockbox and 3rd gen?

a couple questions before i install it:

-is mp3 decoding more or less perfect? most of my music is between 256kbps and 320kbps. will there be any hiccups?

-how is battery life?

-does the line-out via dock connector work?

i appologize in advanced if these issues have been addressed. i searched, but must've missed it somehow.

MP3 decoding doesn't work because the decoder is too slow on the PP5002.  I've looked into fixing this, but it will be fairly involved for various reasons and I just don't have that kind of time right now.

-how is battery life?

Probably terrible.

-does the line-out via dock connector work?

It should, theres nothing special to support it.

We only just got playback working on the 3G, so the port isn't really functional at this time, and since there are very few people interested in the 3G, it will probably be a while before it gets much better.  Its mostly just meant for testing and development.
