frequently showing the /!\ icon

2/3 of times i plug off the ipod from PC ( after Safely Remove Hardware )
the /!\ with battery is shown on my screen.
I worry for my ipod . What might be the problem?

Could you clarify a bit, doyou mean that a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it appears?

And when you say "plug off the ipod" do you mean when you unplug it?

This is not an installation question.

Problem might be that your ipod needs a new battery. The current battery might of lost all of it's charge and is no longer chargable.

So, you unmount your ipod (however you do that) and it goes from the circle/slash symbol to the checkmark symbol, then you unplug it and it goes blank, and then comes up to this icon?

And while unlikely, it is not "impossible" by any means. Sometimes hardware is bad out of the box.

This is very likely not a Rockbox issue, but an iPod issue.  I'd search some iPod specific forums (Like if Apple has one, check there).
