Volume display
« on: September 09, 2006, 12:27:49 PM »
Is this a known thing that the '-' in the volume display shows up as a weird graphic?

Is there a workable sulution to display all 0--84 steps of the volume adjustment?

The volume display shows up fine on all Rockbox platforms that I use.  Are having trouble with the volume display on a WPS or in the status bar?  What platform, and what build?  If the trouble is in a WPS, having you tried a different font?

Perhaps you could post a screen shot.

Screen dump is under the debug menu in case you can't find it:-)

Thanks guys, I sussed it.

Didn't realise that the speaker graphic was part of  the volume and that it seems to need a couple of spaces before the %pv so that the '-' isn't overwritten.

Thanks for the confirmation that it should work. The iAmp .wps gave me a few more clues.

Sadly, no. Someone did a patch about half a year ago but stopped updating it because of a tiff with the developers and it doesn't work the current source code. You can check it out at the tracker page here if you're curious.
