Delete Ipod-Files
« on: September 09, 2006, 12:17:29 AM »
Hello there

i had the problem, that Amarok an Konqueror just see from 890 MB see 530 MB free. So i delete any file and now, amarok an gtkpod can't use my ipod (nano). amarok can't finde the database an don't connect, gtkpod can't create the files and don't sync.

so, i will take this situation, to install rockbox. but i want as 2nd system the original. but i don't have any files an no windows or mac os. so i can't use the ipod-update. did anybody make a image befor installing rockbox and can send this to me? then send me a pm and i will send you my emailadress. tnx

bye

Part of the problem is that you're not explaining very clearly what your problem is. As Atheistic Freedom has said, we really don't know what you're asking.

It matters whether it is a 1, 2, or 4gb nano.

If you're just trying to restore your iPod, it's possible the Apple Restore tool can be run under Wine.

Well, it may not work. It was worth a try though.
