Nano: Error message when loading RB: "Rockbox error: -1"

Hello, i've just installed rockbox on my nano using unofficial installation, and when my ipod rebooted itself, an error message from rockbox occured: "Rockbox error: -1". What do i do at this point? Please help.

We do NOT support UNOFFICIAL installations. You'd think the word "unofficial" would clue you into this.

In the OFFICIAL installation instructions, it specifically tells you that you will get this message and what to do next in the section

You can find a link to The Rockbox Manual in my signature.  There are installation instructions, including links, there.  Looking specifically at the section on dowloading and installing a daily build.  The error that you've experienced indicates that you haven't done this step, or that you haven't done it correctly.

Thanks alot guys, i figured it all out now. But heres another question that i have: how do u return to ur original, apple os firmware from rockbox? Thanks again.

Press and hold the Menu button when you turn on the player until you see the message, "Loading original firmware."
