iPod Nano - shutdown on no external power
marc76:
Hi!
I hope I'm in the correct forum, if not let me know.
I'm using my iPod nano with Rockbox software in my car, getting power also from the car. When starting the car the iPod boots and begins to play automatically, which is really nice. But when switching off the car, Rockbox does not stop to play and does not shut down (original software does). Is there a way to change this? Maybe just stopping playback would be enough, so that the normal timeout will switch off the iPod.
Thanks and regards,
Marc

You'll want Car Adapter Mode then ;D
I'm assuming it works on the Nano. Find it in General Settings>System

Mh, sounds good, but I don't find that option ??? Is it a new one? I will update my installation this evening (german time ;) ) and have a look again...

I don't think so, it depends on what you call new :) It's been in my menu since I started using RB in late-June.

Like I said, I don't know if it works on the Nano. I can see it on my H120, but I can't find any info in the Wiki about which hardware platforms may support this feature... :(

mh, I installed mine later than june. So probably it's not implemented. Thx anyway :)
