I've done this by renaming the file/folder using Rockbox directly and its rename feature.

This proves that rockbox is a better OS than Windows  ;D

Yotto:
Really?  Windows you can create a directory with a dot to start.  Rockbox, you have to create the directory without the dot and then rename it later.

Not that I'm defending Windows, mind :D

Rincewind:
I'm using Windows 2000 and I'm always struggling to get a .xxx folder. I even used a FTP program once (create a folder on the server, copy it to local) :o

Mikerman:
Windows XP won't let me create a folder starting with a "." -- I just tried again to check this out . . . .
