Nano 4 G not connecting

Have my nano 4g using both rockbox and original Ipod OS
I tried to update the ipod with the updater and now is not conecting with my XP PC
It appeared to be workng ok but did not connect with the computer
even after resenting using all the info in this forum...nothing
Let me be clear. machine recognize it but canot comunicate

So wait, you used the apple updater removing Rockbox, so you don't have Rockbox on your player at all, and you're having troubles using it?

Yes you are right
I have been reading answers about uninstaling rockbox even the uninstalling instructions here in the site
There I have read that if I update using the Apple update tool everithing on the disk is removed includding rockbox
It is exaclty what I did but now the Ipod did not conect

It sounds like the update didn't work right. This isn't really something you should be asking us about though.

Ok. Maybe you are right.
But you peoples are the one with more knowledge on modifying the os of the Ipod and I thaught it is probably a problem related with the uninstalation of Rockbox
Can you give some clues about the solution
