custom builds = hot ipod (5g)?

Im just wondering if anyone else is experiancing a extra hot ipod due to any of the custom builds. Im using Senabs build with the new jclix (which by the way looks amazing!) and it got really hot. I mean hot like Im playing doom on it or something but all I was doing was playing music and the screen was off. Im thinking Im gonna change builds...
