Big thanks  for answers! I shall search for the Napster batterry. Though, in Russia the given things are heavy for finding.

As far as I know an iPod 1st/2nd Generation Battery also should work, you just have to switch polarity of the connector. These batteries probably are the most widely available.

Well, I have tested the battery and it has appeared serviceable. I think something happens with electronic components :(. Somebody can prompt me what kind of hardware damaged? Whether it can be caused by charging 3.7V AC adapter?

ihp-140 has following symptoms of malfunction:

- not turn on by the "play" button. Turn on can occur only two ways: by "reset" button and whеn plug in AC adaptor. After this player completely functional, but unload of the battery it is a little bit increased.

- when player turned off, battery is unloaded some hours prior to zero!


I have an assumption, that it the BQ24022 Li-Ion charger is faulty. But why player not turn on by the "play" button?
