Yep, just reflash with 1.29K firmware and delete the .rockbox folder and rockbox.iriver file. Reflashing will overwrite the firmware you patched with the bootloader.

This is very true.  If you just don't like Rockbox, just remove the .rockbox directory and the rockbox.iriver file.  You are MUCH safer with the Rockbox bootloader than without it.  The only reason anyone should flash back to the original firmware is for iriver support requests.
