Skipping-Clipping iPod Video

Hello,

I have installed Rockbox on my iPod Video for 3 days now,

The skipping I experiuence with .mp3s is due to the Backdrop setting. If I clear the backdrop my music will read fine. I have read most of the posts and I am contributing here with my find.
Sorry it is so simple but it seems that way, I worked a lot on many settings and the EQ seemed to reduce the problem, but it still skips about 5 times a song.
I only could stop it by Clearing the Backdrop. So I am left with the default setting and guess I have to wait for better performance in .wps.

If anyone has another hint,

You mentioned EQ but I can't tell what you are saying about it.  If you are using the EQ, turn it off and use the hardware equalizer instead.  If you still experience skipping, make sure that you use a WPS with no peakmeters.  This should eliminate skipping pretty much entirely.

The hardware EQ is the best i can finally play music and a game at the same time with *no* skipping at all.
