Virtual text editer

I HATE the way the text editer looks. Period.
So my question is as follows: if I post a jpeg/bitmap file somewhere with a new text editing screen, with nice virtual buttons for the keyboard; could someone code it for me? My coding is very VERY rusty.

One thing to keep in mind, is the need for the application to fit all the various target screens. Hopefully, you can be creative in that regard (this issue has come up previously). Unfortunately, I'm no progammer here.

Well thats no problem, I could draw them for all targets separately. As soon as someone promises to code it, I'll start working on it.

Here's some notes: It's handy if it's flexible (customizable for different languages, for example, maybe even adaptive to different fonts) and it has to have a version that is displayable on 1 bit per pixel (monochrome) screens.

Well, converting a regular jpeg image into monochrome is very easy, there are alot of tools for that that do it automaticly. As for costumization, I could simply do the buttons without any text, and leave that for the programmer.

Not grayscale. Black and white, no grays.

I believe that there is a wiki page or a prior thread (or both) with a fairly extensive discussion about the virtual keyboard. You might want to take a look for it before you recreate the wheel.

I've searched through both of them - no results. Could you post a link?
