Okay, "Frozen" is different than "Bricked." We're a technical forum, so it's important that you use the accepted forms of terms so that people know what you're talking about.

So, you're saying you can get into Rockbox, but then it freezes?

If it freezes, menu + select will reboot it. If it doesn't, release them, wait a few seconds, and try again. Odds are very good that you've just wiggled your fingers while pressing it. Don't bother trying other buttons.

Nope... comes up after charging the battery "frozen"... hahahaha  :P

I will let the battery discharge the rest of the day and overnight, maybe getting a slight capacitive effect... ...and see if I can break into it

Llorean:
What do you mean by "comes up frozen"

What screen, *exactly* does it freeze at?

The apple logo? The bootloader text? The Rockbox logo? Earlier, later?

It comes up at the on a play screen, Led Zeppelin to be exact. hahahahaha

I will check back in after it has had plenty of time to discharge...  thanks

Llorean:
Try booting with hold on to clear settings.
