images invisible in file browser

I put rockbox on my ipod a couple of days ago and everything is working great except image viewing. I have a folder dedicated to images on the player (ipod 5th gen), with a few images in it and a some subfolders. The subfolders are shown but the images and the images contained in the subfolders do not show up. I updated to the latest version of rockbox availible as of this post.

What file view mode are you in? It's possible that you're in Music only, or if you're in Supported that your image files have an extension other than the expected one.
