Julius,

Incredible work!  I would LOVE to port your new themes to the Iaudio X5 (I ported your jBlackGlass theme a while back), but apparently can't because of the required patches.  Will these only work for IPod 5G?  If so, is there a chance that other platforms can get these working too?

Yeah, it would be cool to see it in other plaforms too, but the current patches are only for lcd-16bit.c, so all other platform wich don't use this lcd type won't be working.

I may do the changes for the other lcd types, but first the bugs should be fixed, and there is no scrolling text for the wps (for now) so I think it won't happen in the near future.

BTW: jBlackGlass seems to work fine with these patches, there is only a little problem with the statusbar, but it seems with some fixes these patches will support all kind of themes, so you will be able to use the original ones if you get bored with these :)

Cheers,
Julius

Hi Guys,

I just uploaded the themes, patches and the builds, please redownload them and geave it a try.
Themes: http://pijulius.com/julius/rockbox/themes/
Builds: Removed by Llorean. Please, keep ALL links to custom builds within the unsupported forum. (Julius: understood :) )

So guys, please redirect your questions related to my builds (jbuild) to here:
http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=4417.0
and don't forget to use Senab's builds and comment on them here:
http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=4342.0

Senab: please download the new patches or from the tracker or from here:
http://pijulius.com/julius/rockbox/patches/

The following patches are needed:
custom_display_width.patch
custom_list_position.patch
customline.patch
multifont-20060828.patch
multifont-userfonts-20060828.patch

Please note, jBlackGlass and Green5g have been updated too and they should work with the new builds too, the status bar is a bit out of place, but I hope I will be able to make a patch for that too, anyway, now you should be able to use all the other themes with these patches.

Cheers,
Julius

(btw: no, scroll margins are not in my builds, but they should be in Senab's ones)

Hmm, not really, or at least I don't really plan to port them over, there is a lot to do just for one device, but everyone is more than welcome to do so.

Sorry cingkrab,
Julius

That's too bad - your patches sound awesome and I'd love to use them for Iaudio X5 WPS's, especially the multi-font patch.  Would it be too difficult to make these patches work across platforms?
