EASY VIDEO on Nano Guide
« on: August 29, 2006, 01:32:05 AM »
I was messing with the mpeg playing capabilities of the nano and did the simplest thing to get an mpeg to play: renamed it to *name*.m2v and it plays.

GUIDE:
1. download mpg or mpeg file
2.rename to .m2v
3. put in ipod root
4.boot ipod click on video.
5.enjoy!    :D

please dont flame me if this has already been posted somewhere

EDIT: Have to resize video somehow..

m2v is the video element of a typical MPEG video. So you will not have sound.

RockBox is only capable of running m2v at the time being so it seems

And to the thread starter, if you don't want people to flame you, it would be smarter to use the search function first lol
