pacbox high scores?

I was wondering if there's any way to save high scores in the pacman plugin. I know there's a .dat file for MAME that saves high scores, but I'm not sure this plugin has anything to do with that.

It seems like it would be something fairly easy to do, but I'm probably wrong. And no, I can't code.
