Numerous duplicate Artist entries when selecting via "Genre."

I'm using Rockbox on a Video iPod (5G.)

When I navigate to a specific genre, I'm seeing numerous duplicate entries of artists in the list.  The pattern seems to be that if any given artist has more than one song in the library, that artist shows up numerous (between 2 and about 20) times.  Artists that only appear on a single song in my library (as in the case of compliation albums) are the only ones that appear only once in the list.

This problem does NOT happen if I simply bring up "Artists" from the main list.  Each artist is only listed ONCE in the main "Artist" list.  It's only when I navigate to "Genre," then select a genre (which shows a list of all artists for that genre) that I see the multiple repeated artist entries.

Note also that this only effects genres that contain a lot of artists/albums/tracks.  The genres that contain fewer artists do NOT show any duplicate entries.  I can't yet tell at what point the number of entries becomes enough to cause this issue.  I only know that my genres that contain over about 100 albums have this issue, while the genres that contain only one or two dozen albums do not.

Is there some setting I'm missing that is effecting this?

Thanks -- I don't think my build is that recent.  I'll post back when I confirm whether or not this fixes the issue.

I'm not sure of the build -- I'll have to check this.

I just started using Rockbox a couple days ago, so EVERYTHING about it is new.  This is the first build I've tried, so I can't say how long this has been a problem.

Just to update, the new build apparently DOES fix this issue -- I tried it and the duplicate entries are gone.
