music stopped playing

songs were playing great on rockbox on my 30gb vipod...but today when i tried to click on a mp3 it doesnt play....aritst says unknown, album also says unknown, full length time is 0.00, and codec:(?kbps)
what seems to be the problem?

1.  Have you tried reseting your player by pressing and holding Menu + Select?

2.  Does this happen on all MP3s or just one particular track?  If it happens on just one track, then the problem is likely that track.  

3.  Do you have any other information that you can provide?  For example, does this happen as soon as you turn on the player, or after a certain amount of time?  Is there anything else that you are doing while listening to music that may be causing a problem (for example, playing a game)?

yes i have tried and it doesnt work...no ,its not just 1 track...the whole tracks dont play......other information....hmmm....i installed the jpilus build....i kept a few songs and video on the origianl apple firmware through itunes (i just wanted to test if the original apple firmware works or not)....but now i have already deleted those files....i have changed themes very often...i have played many games too....others i cant really remember...
please help me out here...

One of the first things you should try when troubleshooting, IMHO, (esp. when you have changed builds) is to boot with the hold switch on to reset settings, I have a suspicion your settings got corrupted.
