Contrast setting? (H300)

are there any plans to implement contrast settings as I think it is a feature the player is missing... this is available in the iriver firmware, is there any reason why this has not been done yet, any reason it can't be done? or has no-one got round to it yet. just curious.

Since this question applies to just the H300 LCD, it goes in the "Hardware" board.

sorry i havn't posted in the rockbox forums since they changed the forums round and just went to where i thought it should go (H300) sorry... i will read more carefully in future. I see that it has been moved does anyone have any thourghts relating to this issue??

I think you can do this with Grayscale Amplifier Block configuration of the γ-Correction Function

 :o I have absolutely no idea what any of that means... i was not thinking of doing it myself at any rate I have no experience with coding of anything more complicated than the WPS's  ::)
