theme thing...

i have problem with theme thing.....first i select a theme and i keep it....but when i connect my ipod to the computer and diconnect it the theme is gone?....rockbox loads with the default rockbox theme....is something wrong or is it like this only?

You have probably reset your settings without knowing. See the IpodFAQ.

Another thing is that many people never shutdown their iPod properly (holding play/pause) and sometimes a theme won't save unless it's been shutdown properly once, since setting it.

Does that mean you have to make sure the Hold Button is released before connecting the iPod to any powered USB cable if you don't want to lose Rockbox's settings? Or do you have to move the Hold Button specifically while the reboot is in progress to force a reset?

You must have the hold button off when starting or your settings will be reduced.
