How do you get Calendar, Contacts and Notes Functionality?

Hi there!!

I've searched the forums for any information about using the Calendar in Rockbox and I've been unable to find anything.

There's no documentation in the Manual either.

If anyone could help me to utilize this function or point me towards information/instructions for this I'd appreciate it!!

I make the assumption you are talking about the similar functions in the Apple firmware.

As far as I know, these aren't currently supported in Rockbox. I do believe there is a Calendar plugin, but I have no idea how that works.

I guess the best you can do is save these as plain .txt files and save them in your directory structure. Either that, or you could revert back to the Apple firmware when you wish to manage this information.

Hey Deano!

Thanks for the response.  That pretty much covers my question.  I don't use the Calendar, Contacts or Notes, but I noticed the Directories there and thought I might try taking advantage of them.

Perhaps they will eventually be available.

Well... as for notes: like Deano alluded to, you can always use the text editor plugin (either to create or to simply view).
