iriver H140: hdd problem - mp3 files broken
« on: August 22, 2006, 07:43:36 AM »
Very randomly I have the occasion where I canot read 1 or 2 mp3 files that positively have worked before.
H140 freezes when trying to play or copy the file. Windows cannot copy them, either. So I would suspect the HDD to be bad in some way. Which tool do you recommend to check the HDD?
Any other suggestions?

use check disk, you run in from the command prompt. Enter: 'chkdisk -f' at the command prompt. Might work.
