Separating menu color from WPS color?

(1/3) > >>

themaiday:
Is that possible?

The menu should be: backround color black with foreground color white in order to save power.

The WPS should be aiming at iCatcher: invers to the menu, so a white backround with a black text.

Thanks in advance,

themaiday

Llorean:
You cannot at this time have different foregrounds in different places.

Also, white text with a black background will not save power. I'm not sure what made you think it will.

Sure about that? The white color ist much brighter -> more power usage?

If you are right, there is no more problem..

Llorean:
Imagine a flashlight shining at a piece of paper. If you poke holes in the paper, more light gets through, but the flashlight is still shining just as bright. This is *basically* what the LCD is doing.

This is only correct for CRT- and OLED-Displays. With a TFT-Display it is the other way round:
Dark colours consume more battery power because the display has to hide the backlight.
