Did I brick my Ipod?
« on: August 21, 2006, 01:30:00 AM »
So what happened is, I had JUST plugged my ipod in my computer decided to freeze up.  Windows was JUST starting to "autoplay" (aka looks like a download status, while it reads all your mp3s in the ipod) and the PC froze up.  After waiting several minutes with hopes that it would "unfreeze", I decided to shut the power off my computer.  Now my question is, did I brick my ipod (or my mp3 files)?  When I shut my computer off for the restart, the ipod was showing the "Do Not Disconnect" Message.  Any insights would be appreciated.

Your questions were already answered in the IRC channel. You know it's not bricked. You've been told that any damage you can reasonable expect was to the filesystem.

This is also not a general iPod support forum.

As in, you could have corrupt files. We told you that in the IRC channel already. Please, actually read what people say to you in the future.
