My first patch: Stopwatch updates
« on: August 20, 2006, 12:12:34 PM »
Hello all, I've just been able to download all necessary files and tools to compile rockbox, and the first thing I tried to do with it is to make some updates to the stopwatch plugin.

The first thing I changed was that the plugin stores it's state in a config file. That way you can stop and restart the plugin, and the timer will still be counting.

I also added support for the remote control. You can now start, stop and reset the stopwatch from the remote.
The remote also shows the current time in a larger font.

Another idea that I had was to have the stopwatch play a short beep sound at regular intervals, but I haven't found out yet if it is possible to do this while a song is playing.
