TI Graphing Calculators
NPswimdude500:
There's only a certain amount those calculators can do.
And we wouldn't want rockbox to be responsible for a sudden downturn in your math average...
neilt6:
I try to ignore people who think that MultiMedia Player firmware can be ported to a Calculator. >:(
P.S In case anyone hasn't noticed the TI-83+ calculators use a monochrome display with a terrible refresh rate!
(Post Edited: Unnecessarily aggressive)
BigMac:
I take great offense to your post. As a calculator programmer that is a generalization. If it blurred that was poor coding on the owners behalf. I know several games for varying platforms that are amazing. How dare you say that and shame on you.
Keep ROCKing on!

HOW THE HECK CAN YOU PLAY A GAME WHEN EVERYTHING BLURRS EVERYTIME YOU MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People are going to ignore you with the first 6 words you typed.
Darth Android:
To throw some numbers in:
The Ti-84+SE has only 2.5 mb of flash and 24kb of RAM.
The TI-83+ has less than 1mb of flash and 24kb of RAM.
Now, what music you can fit into that, is not decodable in realtime on a 6mhz (83+) or 15mhz (83+se through 84+se) using an mp3 or ogg codec. (At least not at any bitrate worth listening to).
To neilt6:
I personally play a game called Desolate which uses flickerless 4-level grescale and animated tiles.
If you don't feel like creating your own games which do not have the side effect you do not like and yet still want to play games, perhaps you should invest in a gameboy or psp and use the calculator for *gasp* calculations in math class?
On a side note - That blur is the only thing which makes grescale possible on a monochrome display (older ipods, ti-calculators, etc.)
