Archos Shuts down
« on: August 18, 2006, 11:19:32 AM »
I have the Archos Recorder - it has recently not been wanting to shut down, so I re-formatted and reinstalled the Rockbox files.  Now  it boots up, but on resume when the red light goes off, it shuts off.
Not the result I had hoped for!!
Any suggestions on fixing this?
Thanks, Chris

Actually, this post should be in Hardware--Fixing Broken Players. (for future reference)  This is because he started the posts with "it has recently not been wanting to shut down" which indicates something other than just install problems.

chjajones - Have you done a search on the forums?  There are *many* posts that outline the same exact thing.
