iPod: FM Transmitter and Rockbox
« on: August 18, 2006, 09:15:01 AM »
I have an iPod Nano with the great Rockbox firmware (Daily Build 17-08-06). I would like to use a Kensington Pico FM-Transmitter with this setup. Has anybody tried this and could confirm that it works. I trief it with the original Apple-Firmware and it worked without any problems. Since it like Rockbox a lot I would like to use it with this firmware of course.

thanks.

As has been answered in *many* places regarding the accessories:

If it actually communicates with the iPod, it will not work. If it only plugs into the headphone jack, OR only uses the line out from the dock connector it will work.

There are many FM transmitters that will work. If you're not sure, simply pick one designed to work with CD players and ANY MP3 player.
