Saving Config Files

 I'm trying to save some different settings for various situations on my Player 10. I'm having trouble working out how to delete the characters of the default file name before entering my own. Can anyone point me in the right direction here please. I checked the manual but it doesn't cover the keystrokes for deleting, and a quick search in this forum did not reveal too much. (I eventually did it manually from USB mode on a PC, but am still curious about this.)

Are you sure about that?  Did you look at the "Virtual Keyboard" section in the "Rockbox Interface" chapter?

Thanks for that - I didn't read the entire manual, only the section on managing settings.

 Having now read this, I noticed that the keys are quite different than those mentioned, and only found out how to delete a character accidentally - have written up a bug report and posted.
