Cannot get the song names to talk

Update:

I finally figured things out.  In my opinion, the best way to add .talk files to your music folders is by going into VoiceBox and using voiceBox.hta.  When you doubleclick on this application file, an html page opens up.  It is very intuitive and will add .talk files and .mp3.talk files to a folder that has folders within folders!

The voicebox.wsf file will not add the .mp3.talk files that I needed to make Rockbox speak out my song names.  I would have thought that voicebox.wsf and voicebox.hta would produce the same results and it would be the user's choice as to which file of the two files to use.  But no.

I don't know if there is a glitch in the voicebox.wsf file but I do know that I could not get it to work as effectively for me as voicebox.hta.

From now on, I will be using the voicebox.hta file to add .talk and .mp3.talk files to my recorder.

Hello, Febs!

I am sorry about making two threads.  As I get more involved with Rockbox and this great forum, I am learning how things should be done.  I now know that I should have started this thread in "General Rockbox Discussion."

I am very greatful for the many dedicated people that make this whole website available to music lovers and the Rockbox software available to the world.

Thank you so much!

Regards,
Peter
