3rd gen functionality issues
« on: August 14, 2006, 04:25:48 PM »
I have a bit of an issue. From the main menu with options (Calendar, Contacts, Notes, Rockbox) anything I press I get a message flash "Please Wait" and nothing ever happens. If I press menu I get to the Recent bookmarks- Info options. Meaning I can't even play music. Does anyone know what I can do to resolve this issue?

Thanks!

You're not at a main menu. You're at a file browser. Please, read the manual. Most of your questions will be answered within it.

right. I am experiencing an audio glitching issue during songplay (the audio stops and the timer stops for about a second then starts again on any song). Is this a known issue with the 3rd gen models?

Yes. Playback is not full speed on them yet.

oh that's cool. Oh well... maybe in a while it might be resolved. Thanks so much for your help. Rockbox looks really great and seems to have much more flexibility. I will check back in a while to see if the 3rd gen playback is improved.
