Ipod reboots after booting in original firmware

Hi all of u rockboxers
well my truoble is that when i tried to boot into original firmware the ipod
turns off i mean it boots but after a second it turns off
yes i have enough battery and ... any ideas???

Okay, so it says "Loading Original Firmware" and then shuts down?

What iPod do you have? And is this a new problem, or has it done this since you installed Rockbox?

no i mean the ipod boots in original firmware and all seems to be normal or about one or two seconds and then it turns off.
i have a 30gb ipod video and i have been using rockbox for a month
and it never seemed to have that problem until now.

So you actually have access to the menus in the original firmware for a few seconds?

This is a new problem that just randomly started happening?

My suggestiong would be to uninstall and reinstall the bootloader and see if that helps.

WOW, belive it or not i have had the same problem, exept it took 3 months before it statted hapening, and i hadent altered anything
