Ondio 128FM, corrupted files

Hi,
I use the ONDIO 128 FM for capturing songs from the radio.
Until now it works with the original firmware.
Most of the time, files get corrupted after having recorded only a few songs and the device announces that no more memory is available.
I then transfer the good files the the computer and have to format the memory once again.
Does Rockbox improve the performance in this respect?

So you're recording to the point where the entire 128 MB of memory is full?

That's not a good idea.

The memory is always only partly full. But suddenly the browser shows a huge number of files and directories with random names and the memory is obviously filled with rubbish.
