WPS image.bmp and text issue.
fatherfork:
I have an issue with a new idea for my wps that I'm not sure how to explain, so I'll show you a screenshot:
Basically, I have a bmp I'd like to only be loaded when album art is displayed. Obviously, this is using a patch, but the actual question has nothing to do with the patch. When the album art is displayed, the bmp displays under it perfectly (as you can see above). When there is no album art, the bmp is not displayed, which is correct, but the "remains" of the image cut off part of the text. So I guess I can explain it.
I know rockbox doesn't clear the image after it's done using it, so I guess what I need is a way to actually clear the image when not displayed, or just have the album art window there all the time; the latter obviously not being an option. This is all I can think of to explain, so if you need any more information let me know. Also, you can download the beta for this here.
Thanks for the help!

It looks like you're also using the scrolling margins patch, and it's the margin that's keeping the text from displaying.

Indeed, however the margin is expanded when there is no album art.

Are you certain that it is expanded properly?
Regardless, these are bugs that may not even happen outside of these patches. Try making a WPS for an official build that hides or displays an image based on some sort of condition, and see if the hidden image still overwrites text, and come back and report the bug if it does. Otherwise, this is a bug you should be reporting to a patch author.

I am. However I agree it could be a patch problem. I'm working on testing an official build. I'll get back to you.
