Update 8/21: New iPod 5G WPS: Applebox.

Alright here's the theme I've been working on for the last 24 hours or so. I call it Applebox, and you can get it here!

Update 8/9/06: Now looks more like iTunes. Darker Progress Bar. If sleep timer is running, time left displayed at bottom right.

Update 8/21/06: Added decibel view on hold. Also added current song album position, bitrate and codec while on hold.

thanks. I haven't decided on a font yet either, still trying out different ones. Problem is I want it to be big enough to see in the car so there is no need to change themes for the car.

Oh for the car yup that'll be the best car theme yet.

maybe Hex #BFBFC0 for the font. the black really kills it for me so change the black to a more silvered color

I agree, i don't really like the black either. However, I'm gonna do a little reworking, and I think it'll turn out well, black font included. Well, maybe a little more gray. Expect a new screen tonight.

Perhaps if you wanted to stick with black, you could italicize the font and make their be a shiny silver backcound behind it.

I'm not quite ready to release it. Soon. There are a few things I need to tweak. I still need to add some sort of "Next:" text, but I haven't decided how I'm gonna do it yet. I'll have a final by late tonight.

btw, the apple is gray normally, and turns blue on disk access.

edit: A little closer now.



I'll update the first post with the new screen and link to download once I am satisfied with everything. Also, I think I'm going to add the time in the bottom right corner. How about that?

perhaps you could find a way to seperate title artist and album on the same line exactly like in itunes? but that would be hard.
