Is Custom EQ in Rockbox Working Flawlessly?

<< < (2/3) > >>

Febs:
Yes, you can completely remove Rockbox.

Patx1981:
I installed Rockbox and i´am very happy with the sound.Much better now with manually adjusted Bass and Treble! Hope it will work stable on my Nano...No sound glitching,Errors etc so far.

I think I will donate a bit money(Now that the feauture freeze is lifted, the Ipod Port will be further optimized...  :D ).

Edit:Sound glitching (sometimes) occurs when using the EQ(but only when switching EQBands).Doesnt matter, manual Bass/Treble is enough.

safetydan:
The glitching is because Rockbox on iPod isn't really optimised so playing music works fine, but once you start doing other things (EQ adjustments for example which require recalculating the EQ coefficients) things go wonky and you get sound glitches.

Give it some time and this will go away once some more optimisation work is done.

Patx1981:
Read this in the FAQ (soundglitching etc) but thx for your answer.Anyway the Ipod port seems very good to me but I´am still wondering why my old Ifp 128 from Iriver still sounds "better" than my iPod.At least Rockbox made me not to sell it on Ebay.

_Raiden_:
Rockbox os is much better sound than apple os for me  :) I would like to make an electro eq... Now I'm using ibiza, bass 5, treble 9, and in"simple eq settings" what's the best to make  those hz for bette sound?
