Rockbox does not recognize charging device

When I try to charge my iPod Nano not using the USB-port but an external charging device it does not work: The Nano keeps rebooting over and over again.

Is there a solution to the problem?

Press and hold Menu as you insert the USB cable.

There should be an option to turn disk mode off... It gets pretty annoying to keep having to unplug the USB cable and plug it back in everytime I turn the car on. Or is there one?

i agree that there should be a way to not have disk mode. I think there should be an option to reboot in disk mode *like select it on the menu then it reboots in disk mode*

Well in my new build i have included a patch that when you plug in your cable it'll charge it but to boot into disk mode you have to hold down menu and insert the cabe. Quite the opposite.
