iPod: Low power mode?
« on: August 01, 2006, 02:46:02 PM »
How come no such mode exsists. I kinda dont like the idea of always having to boot the HD every power up and power down. Often times i power down the rockbox, and have to boot it back up a short while longer. Plus booting the HD takes alot of energy. is such a mode planing to be made for rockbox? why not?
The low-power mode in the Apple OS takes up very little energy, and saves unessessary boot ups...

thanks~

No such mode exists because we don't know how to do it yet.  When we do it may well become a feature of Rockbox.
