usb charging for X5 in Rockbox?

Hi, I'm thinking about getting an X5.

Does it charge via the subpack's USB connector in Rockbox?  Or do you have to have the AC adapter plugged in at the same time?

It is able to charge via USB or AC connections in the subpack (not the OTG-USB connection).

Note that the code that controls charging while the device is on is not yet present in RB, so it's only safe to charge it while off (the OF Charging... screen).

I'm not sure, but there are several charge 'modes': fast charge, precharge, normal... ???

It's all controlled by PCF50606's MBCC1-MBCC3 regs, so it's best to understand the datasheet before saying anything :)

Is it possible to implement USB charging while still using the X5? Kinda like iPods.
