Problems uninstalling Rockbox

OK.  I installed rockbox onto my girlfriend's ipod, but she doesn't like the interface and wanted it removed.  I removed the rockbox.ipod file as well as the .rockbox folder.  Well, now whenever I restart the ipod I get the rockbox boot loader and it says "loading rockbox" for about a second then "Rockbox error: -1    Loading original firmware" after that it goes back to "loading rockbox" and continues the same series of events.  What did I do wrong?  Also, the ipod isn't reconized as an external drive anymore.  Any help would be appreciated.
