Generally, reach out directly to the interested party and work out shipping details.
FWIW, assuming it makes financial sense, sending known-working hardware is better than sending funds to buy hardware. This is especially true for used (and/or modded) ipods.

I'll spare you the historical details, but for the last two years or so, most services are on on a mid-tier (8 vCore) VPS hosted by OVHCloud. (DNS and email are hosted on a different server of mine, and the mailing lists are still hosted by the OG rockbox crew at haxx.se)
Additionally, five folks provide a total of 9 systems that perform the 390 (!) builds that happen after every commit. (Three of those systems are mine)
I now have business-class gigabit fiber at home, but due to my being a major disaster magnet (three hurricanes and a forest fire in over the last 1.5 years, plus numerous minor outages) I've been reluctant to bring cricical stuff back under my roof.
