iPod Nano 1: Mountpoint does not exist

(1/1)

FerociousRB:
Hello all,

Today I installed RB4 on my iPod Nano 1st gen and working great. Was playing around with themes and remove the ones I didn't use. Also removed some games like Quake, Doom, Wolf3D. Powered down and try to power on but nothing on the screen. It's plugged in to my PC. I'm assuming it booted up. I start RB installer (win) and getting Mountpoint does not exist. Windows disk manager doesn't see it. Seems like it's bricked...  :'(

Any suggestions? Thx in advance.

Force a reboot: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102293

Worst case you should always be able to reboot into disk mode.

Holy cats! Thank you so much, this worked! Did have issues with power on boot so I uninstalled RB4 and bootloader, restored with Apple Devices app and did RB4 again. Working just like before.  8)

Put the Hold switch firmly in the unlocked position. Then press and hold the Menu and Center (or Select) buttons for 8 seconds, or until you see the Apple logo.
