Hi Fi Walker H2 remove rockbox bootloader
lovelas2605:
Hello,
I have a Hi-Fi Walker H2 with Rockbox installed natively. The method involved dropping the .rockbox and update.upt folders onto the memory card. I would like to remove Rockbox and all of its components: recovery, bootloader. Unfortunately, I don't really know how to do this. I've read about the "native patcher" file but I can't find it anywhere. I need to remove Rockbox because I want to return this device to the store. The removal method via Rockbox utility 1.5.1 doesn't work because it doesn't support native installation.
Edit : firmware v1.8

All you need is an update.upt file which writes the original bootloader back on to the device - we have a script to make one from a stock update file. I'll see if I can get this uninstallation update file to you after work (unless someone gets to it before me).

Thank you very much for your answer. Fortunately, there is a way to restore the original bootloader. I'll wait until you get back from work, thank you.

Looks like I even already had this one on google drive... Give this a try.
All you need to do is put it on the SD card and name it "update.upt", then, with the device off, hold Volume Up + Power to get into the bootloader menu, and run "Aigo Recovery". It should update and then reboot into the stock OS when done.
Hope that helps!

Thank you very much for your help. I restored my device to factory state with this update file from you. It works ;D
