« No partition found » / Blocked in « multimedia mode » - IPod 6th 160go

Hey guys.

So I’ve made a research here and on the internet reddit etc. I’ve also posted on various groups, with no luck.

It seems lots of people raised the issue, no one found / reported the solution.

Here it is :
I tried installing many times rockbox with the utility. It’s a win pod, on windows utility, 6th gen 160Go stock hard drive healthy.
I am in DFU mode, iPod fully restored before installing.
I have tried various methods : installing everything/ installing bootloader first and then firmware/ and firmware then the bootloader.

I have used latest daybuilds, even tried things like deleting the iPod driver, changing letter of the drive etc. No success.

I always end up with « partition not found, use usb to fix » or I enter multimedia mode without being able to boot into Rockbox even if it’s right there, I see the booting screen.

I always can boot into stock firmware, restore it etc. No issues on this side.
Any idea ?
I feel a lot of ppl are having the issue and it’s never been solved and properly addressed.
