MacOS installer for 1.5.1 thinks it's 1.5.0

The permission denied error is for installing the ipod bootloader on Windows:

FWIW, installing the ipod bootloaders has already required root access since you're doing low level writing to a disk (malware risk).

So the log says its a Windows bug that was fixed and not for macOS?

Sudo makes no changes here. Intel based Mac.

Jet Alone:
running it this way DOES work, IF you have the iPod formatted correctly.

cd /Applications/RockboxUtility.app/Contents/MacOS
sudo ./RockboxUtility
