New to Rocbock themes design and modding... where to start?

Sorry if the answer is obvious (feel free to remove my post in that case), but I RTFMed a little bit and couldnt find simple resource on how to start theming, where to start, what does all this syntax means, where to find simple examples etc.

Any suggestion?

The manual for your device lists the supported commands

On the right side if you add % you have the command

If you look at the theme site download some themes for your device

that you like and start changing them
