IPOD nano 2nd gen RED

I connected it to iTunes to restore firmware, it updated and now the Installer says the bootloader version is not recognized... and the process corupts something so i need to re-use iTunes to restore it... any hint about how to install the bootloader ? (Model A1199 4GB)

Solved: it automatically recognize an ipod Mini and not Nano, selecting manually solved the problem.
